What To Look For When Choosing A Hair Removal Practice

Choosing the right hair removal practice can be extremely confusing, so it’s important to take it slow and do your research before making a selection.

Keep in mind that you should choose a practice that offers both electrolysis and laser hair removal.  This type of facility would insure that a treatment plan would be specifically designed for you and you alone.  Choosing a practice that is limited to only one method of hair removal would only produce limited results.  Most clients achieve their goal by adhering to a carefully designed treatment schedule utilizing both electrolysis and laser hair removal.

Before you contact someone, take a look at some of the practices web site’s to see what they have to offer.  Do not limit yourself to only a few practices.  Compose a list for comparison prior to calling each practice.  Once you have telephoned them, ask a few questions such as what methods of hair removal are available, the differences in technology, who performs the treatments and are they board certified, how many years have they been practicing hair removal, and finally do they offer complimentary consultations.  Were you able to speak with someone directly, were they willing to answer your questions, were they pleasant and accommodating?  Your first phone encounter can actually give you a peek into the personality of the practice.

Taking the time in the beginning to carefully choose a professional hair removal practice can make all the difference in your results.  Tell us about your experiences!

From the moment that I spoke to the receptionist at Associates In Electrology & Advanced Laser Therapy, I knew that I had chosen the right place. I really didn’t know too much about the whole process and was somewhat apprehensive about making an appointment. The receptionist took the time to answer all of my questions and wasn’t at all pushy. When I finally came in for my appointment, everyone made me feel extremely comfortable. What was so amazing was that they were extremely honest…they told me that since I had such a small amount of growth, I wouldn’t benefit from laser hair removal, but would probably only need a few electrolysis treatments. I was happy that they were really honest and didn’t rope me into something that wasn’t for me.
