It’s been a few weeks since my last blog entry to you. But as I worked with a client yesterday, I realized her feedback was worth sharing with you. My client has elected to work with us for both electrolysis and laser hair removal treatments. She has been a regular recipient of electrolysis on her face and neck areas. Yesterday was her first laser hair removal treatment on her underarms.
As you know we try to keep your comfort as our top priority. Unfortunately for yesterday’s laser hair removal client, she has an allergy to EMLA (lidocaine). We knew numbing the underarm area with EMLA was not an option so we applied cool packs before continuing with her treatment. Our client did feel “a few pinches” but in just minutes, both her underarms were treated. According to our client, “I really didn’t feel anything at all. Let’s set up to get going on my legs so I’ll be ready for summer weather. To think after shaving for nearly 40 years, I won’t have to do it again, is really great.”
My client set up her next appointments for 9 weeks, when we’ll give her another underarm treatment, which will undoubtedly keep her underarms free of hair forever. In the meantime, she’s requested her family buy her gift certificates to use with us for the laser hair removal treatments on her legs. What better way to spend the winter months than dreaming about the warmth of summer and showing off your legs in shorts, a swimsuit, or that favorite outfit?
